DP Collagen

There are several layers to our skin, the outer layer is the Epidermis, and the lowest level is the Dermis. Underneath here we find the protein known as Collagen. There are bundles of collagen molecules packed under the Dermis which are responsible for the skins strength. The combination of Collagen and Elastin gives our skin the elasticity and firmness which we associate with youth, as we start to age these cellular proteins start to lose their shape or hook together. This results in the proteins being prevented from doing their job properly and our skin loses its lustre and elasticity. This natural process leads to lines, wrinkles and bags under the eyes. The most important thing we can do to stall the ageing process is to reduce the breakdown of the Collagen and increase its supply. There are several ways that you can do this but it’s important you do it correctly as going about it without proper research can result in the skin ageing even quicker. Gently stimulating your skin cells can encourage collagen production, thus improving the appearance and elasticity of the skin. Vitamin C is essential for Collagen production, by adding vitamin c directly to the culture of the skin cells, known as fibroblasts, you will greatly stimulate production. Please bear in mind that orally taken vitamin c will never reach the levels needed to make any difference to your lines or wrinkles. Only by applying it directly to your skin can a high enough concentration be reached to have any visible benefit (How to use DP Collagen as a Mask).

DP Collagen  includes vitamin C. and vitamin E. Because of that we recomend the usage of DP Collagen as a MASK. directly applied to your skin on a regular basis will see a marked improvement in the appearance of your skin. Fine lines could be virtually eliminated, deeper lines vastly improved and under-eye bags lifted and tightened. Our skin is our largest organ and incredibly absorbent, so application directly to the skin is really the only way to go.
